Medication Assisted Treatment for Opiate Addiction
Our Suboxone program is one of Middle Tennessee's most comprehensive approaches to outpatient opiate addiction treatment. Opiate Use Disorder continues to be a major health problem in Tennessee along with the rest of the Nation. Recovery Consulting Service offers assessment, counseling, education and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to the residents of Middle Tennessee for this complex but treatable health condition. By working closely with physicians who are certified to prescribe Suboxone and other opioid replacement medications, we are able to provide effective opiate addiction counseling, in an outpatient setting. The medication manages withdrawal and cravings. The counseling focuses on decreasing stress and anxiety while increasing relapse prevention skills, recovery knowledge, and overall emotional wellness. We offer individual sessions as well as small groups of 3 to 5 participants. The sessions take place at our Murfreesboro office or at participating physician's offices in Middle Tennessee. Addiction and co-occurring anxiety are complex and confusing health conditions. I understand that. I have been there. However, recovery is achievable and sustainable. From the first phone call to the final session, you will be treated with dignity and respect. Call today.

What to Expect
All sessions are confidential and by appointment only. Recovery Consulting Service does not place clients in pre-set or scheduled programs. Instead they help each client develop their own individual recovery plan. The offices and receiving room are a confidential, comfortable, and therapeutic environment. Addiction counseling at Recovery Consulting Service, focuses on helping the patient maintain sobriety during the first few weeks and months of early recovery. The usual topics could include dealing with cravings, establishing boundaries, building support, education on the disease of addiction, relapse prevention, and managing feelings. Sessions can occur several times a week, once a month, or anything in between depending on need. The main goal here is learning to avoid substance abuse on a daily basis. Recovery coaching takes a longer view with the emphasis on maintaining a quality recovery lifestyle. The goal is to decrease the risk of relapse by improving overall emotional wellness. Coaching will often address issues such as relationships, finances, employment, as well as living with purpose, passion and peace through the art of struggle reduction. Sessions occur one time per week or bi-monthly for up to a year or longer.
